What does it take to be in a Youth Orchestra? Talent, dedication, time and practice, practice, practice!

Here are pictures of some of our musicians warming up before the Dec. 7 concert. We have lots of fun at rehearsals and concerts, but our musicians are all business when it comes to performing.

Musicians learn to be flexible and play under all sorts of conditions. Here the French horns warm up in an auditorium, using seat backs as impromptu music stands.

Of course, strings warm up and tune up, too. Here are pictures of our string instruments during the concert.
